The manga/anime by Ken Akamatsu. Love Hina focuses on Keitaro Urashima, a doggedly nice guy who gets some of the most mixed luck in the world when he inherits his grandmother's inn while trying to enter Tokyo University. It's a harem comedy that uses a lot of slapstick and other comedic foils, and is truly one of the first manga/anime that has made me laugh since the Tenchi Muyo series.
