Another couple I'd like to focus on from School Rumble; Imadori Kyousuke and Karen Ichijo. First and foremost, Imadori is one of the more outspoken perverts in the series, being attracted to busty girls. At first glance, Karen doesn't fit the quota and the two only interacted the first time when doing a job moving furniture together. Excited at getting his paycheck, Imadori states he could even take Karen out on a date, and Karen took him up on it. Since Karen is as strong as she is timid when not on the school wrestling team, her strength originally terrified Imadori. Eventually, the more time he spent with Karen the more Imadori began to like her. In the manga this culminates in Imadori giving Karen a ring, suggesting they are engaged.
