DemiDevimon, who would become a regular antagonist towards The DigiDestined, revealed after Etemon's defeat that he'd been one of the tyrannical monkey's henchmen. Since DemiDevimon was seen interacting with two of Etemon's former underlings, it's unknown if the little bat really did serve Etemon offscreen or if DemiDevimon's involvement with Etemon was just an invention of the dub.
