Set in the New York from the first movie, these militaristic penguins take on everyday situations and call them missions, interacting with animals in and out of the zoo. If there is a prominent antagonist, it'd be King Julian the ring-tailed lemur who along with Mort and Maurice are now in the same zoo as the penguins. Julian convinces himself he is the king of the zoo, and if a conflict isn't coming from an outside source or otherwise regular situation,there's usually one caused by Julian's own ego. The series is clever and charming and, if anything, makes penguins even funnier creatures.
