Lenny the Lizard

Lenny is a character I feel was at his best during the first two seasons of the show. He even took Kermit's place in the classic "Inchworm" sketch, performed by Jim Henson himself. After the second season, though, Lenny was see only a few times, and in the fourth season, only once. Lenny was used as a utility character on the British puppet show Mopatop's Shop before appearing once on Muppets Tonight. I personally feel that Lenny should have appeared more often, even if it were just as a background character or member of the audience.
