This hornbill/hoopoe-looking bird debuted on Sex and Violence in a sketch with five other birds. He was also the first and only one of the birds to appear regularly on The Muppet Show during the first season. His design changed a bit a few times. When he debuted during the show's first season, he was a dull grayish-blue, regaining his vibrant blue coloration in the third season. In the fourth season his eye adjustment was changed to give him a more alert and energetic look. The Ohboy Bird is the only bird who hasn't been seen since The Muppet Show, and I think that's a shame.
