A lazy author, Shigure would rather goof off all day than do any actual work and annoy his editor to the point of tears for his own amusement. He seems to prefer being a man-child than anything else, as noted by his more cynical cousins. As Shigure is a pervert who likes looking at pretty young girls, it's almost appropriate that his curse turns him into a dog when coming into physical contact with a woman.
